Hungarian Balázs Gosztonyi is international judo referee. He is specialised in Paralympic refereeing and was official at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio and also refereed at many other IBSA (International Blind Sports Organisation) organised events such as the European Games. As a judoka himself he won medals at Hungarian Junior Championships in the 90s. He is internationally active since 2014. He officiated many World Championships finals. His wife is IJF referee Katalin Fridrich and her sister Annamaria is also IJF referee together with her husband Viktor Havasi.
