Brazilian Rafaela Silva became Olympic Champion in Rio in 2016 and was 2013 World Champion, also in Rio. In 2011 she won World silver and bronze in 2019 in the Budokan. She claimed 7 IJF World Tour victories twice in Budapest and twice in Dusseldorf. Silva won the Junior world title in 2008. Born in the Rio favelas and represents the Brazilian Sports dream. She helps with Flavio Canto's project to help the poor people. She became World Military champion in 2018 in Rio. Coached by Mario Tsutsui.
