Austrian Kathrin Unterwurzacher won the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2016 as one of her main highlights. She won the European U23 Championships in 2011 in Tyumen. She took bronze at the Europeans in Warsaw in 2017 and ailver 2016 in Kazan. Unterwurzacher won gold at seven Grand Prix events in Abu Dhabi, Samsun, Antalya, Tbilisi and Tashkent. She finished 7th at the Rio Olympic Games. She won gold at the European Open in Oberwart in 2017 and 2015. Kathi retired in July 2020 due to a knee injury.
