British judoka Jane Bridge was the first women's World Champion in 1980 U48kg. She was triple European champion in 1976, 1978 and 1980. She won various British Open and Dutch Open titles. Later she lived in Paris as bodyguard of Sylvester Stallone and Alain Delon and turned coach of Maisons Alfort. SInce 2016 vice President Education of the EJU. Jane Bridge was inducted into the IJF Hall of Fame in 2018.
