Sagi Muki became first male world champion for Israel in 2019 in Tokyo. Muki opened 2019 with a victory at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv. Muki won the European senior title in 2018 in Tel Aviv. Muki finished fifth at the Olympic Games in Rio. He an expert in Sode Tsuri Gomi Goshi. He took bronze at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. He captured the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv in 2023. He took the gold medal at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2023. He earned a bronze medal at the Grand Slam Tbilisi in 2024.
