Johannes Daxbacher (GER) is an active member of the IJF Military and Police commission. He is a policeman himself, he has been involved in Ethiopia for many years, together with his wife Regina. In 2019 Germany awarded for the first time in history the OneWorld-medal to Regina and Johannes Daxbacher, who have been active for many years in developing judo as a social development tool. They have been working for more than 10 years in Ethiopia to establish a national Judo organisation in Ethiopia. In 2024 he was awarded the Cross of Merit with Ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic.
