American judoka Katelyn Bouyssou now Katelyn Jarrell was Youth Olympic Champion in 2010 in Singapore U52kg. She is triple US champion U48kg in 2009, 2010 and 2015 and highly successful as junior. After a break she came back in 2015. In 2017 she took silver at the Panam Open in Santiago. She took a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Cancun in 2017. She took silver at the Pan American Open in Santiago and captured gold at the Pan American Open in Santo Domingo in 2019. She bagged the gold medal at the Pan American Open in Guadalajara in 2021 and bronze at the PanAm Championships.
