Mehdi El Malki of Morocco won the African Open in Casablanca in 2014 and he took a bronze medal in Tunis in 2016. In 2012 he was African champion in Agadir +100kg among 7 medals. The heavyweight won the Games of the French Speaking countries in 2013.
