German judoka Soshin Katsumi won the European Open in Prague in 2014 and he won bronze in Rome and Warsaw U73kg. Katsumi won 5 European Cup medals, 3 of them in Boras. In 2010 Katsumi won silver at the U23 Europeans. He was German champion in 2010 as well. European Team Bronze with Germany in 2013.
