Slovenian judoka Matjaz Trbovc competed at several World and European championships. He won the Sarajevo open in 2008 and many European Cup medals. In 2015 he won his first World Cup in Taipei. He won 6 national titles U60kg and was also multiple Cadet and Junior champion. Bronze in Tunis in 2016. He took silver at the Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2016. He won silver at the European Cup in Celje in 2017. He won silver at the Grand Prix in Tunis in 2018. He won the European Cup in Sarajevo in 2019. He claimed the gold medal at the Koroska Open in 2021.
