Victor Scvortov was born in Moldova. With his team he moved to United Arab Emirates where he was very successful. He won a World Championships medal as first judoka from the UAE in 2014. Scvortov won the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi and Budapest in 2014. He captured silver at the Grand Prix The Hague in 2017 and bronze in Tashkent in 2018. He took a bronze medal at the Asian Pacific Championships in Fujairah in 2019. He took silver at the Grand Prix in Montreal. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Kazan in 2021.
