Robert Mshvidobadze started his career in Georgia and won the European title in 2020 in Prague. He started fighting for Russia in 2008 and took three silver medals at European U23 Championships. In 2017 he became European Senior champion in Warsaw. He won IJF World tour medals in Zagreb, Tokyo, Hohhot and Düsseldprf. He won the Grand Slam of Abu Dhabi in 2017. In Baku he won World silver in 2018. Mshvidobadze won the World Masters in 2018 in Guangzhou. He bagged a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Kazan in 2021. He became national coach in China.
