Dutch judoka Sam van 't Westende is multiple Dutch champion in various age categories. He won the European Open in Sofia and followed up with good performanced in Samsun and Cluj Napoca (bronze). He won silver at the European Open in Tallinn in 2016. He is four time Dutch champion. He took a bronze medal at the Grand Prix Tbilisi in 2018.
