Irish judoka Lisa Kearney was born in Northern Ireland, but she can compete for Ireland and Northern Ireland at commonwealth Games. The best ever Irish judoka who competed at the 2012 Olympics and won several continental Opens in the 2016 Olympic cycle. In 2015 she won bronze at the Grand Prix in Samsun. She announce to retire in December 2017. She was coached by Cieran Ward.
