Claudia Weber of Germany was the 1991 World bronze medallist in Barcelona. At the Olympic Games in 1992 she was fifth. Heavyweight Claudia Weber won two European silver medals in 1991 and 1992. The multiple German judo champion won the German and Swiss Open. She triumped at the German Open World Masters in 1991.
