Dutch judoka Joop Riezebos was cadet and Junior champion in the Netherlands in the seventies. As lightweight U68kg he had to switch to the new categories. He won the Koninkrijkspelen in Curacao in 1979. Later he started sambo wrestling. He became judo coach after his fighting career.
