Judoka Nathalie De Pauw trained at Judoschool Merelbeke. She was the wife of club trainer Christophe Inghelbrecht (also one of the kata trainers of Judo Vlaanderen) and the mother of judokas Thybe and Kyran. Nathalie discovered judo in Zelzate before joining JS Merelbeke. She attained the rank of 5th Dan and held a Trainer A diploma. She became Belgian champion in youth categories and in Ju No Kata. She also achieved international success with a bronze medal at the European Kata Championships. She passed away in 2022 after a long illness.
