Philip Laats is from a succcesful Belgian judo family. He won three European medals and twelve national titles. Participated at four Olympic Games and most World Championships. Laats won the Tournoi de Paris in 1991. Philip Laats finished 7th at the Olympic Games Seoul in 1988.
