Johan Laats was 1991 World Championships finalist and won the Junior world title in 1986 in Rome. From a true judo family; Lode, Stefaan, Johan, Philip are all judo brothers. Johan Laats was 1997 European Champion in Oostende. He won six national titles U78kg and 5 World Cups.
