Sibghatullah's judo journey began in Afghanistan at age eight. After joining the national youth team at 19, he fled his country, traveling through Iran, Turkey, and others, finally settling in Germany in 2022. As a Refugee Athlete Scholar, he trains in Mönchengladbach and Köln, securing seventh place at the 2023 European Open Madrid. He prioritizes consistency, never missing a gym session. He's set to compete in the Refugee Olympic Team Paris 2024.
