Mahboubeh Barbari Zharfi found her passion for judo at 15, guided by her mother. After excelling in Iran, she joined the national team before seeking asylum in Germany in 2018. Alongside judo, she engages in bodybuilding, swimming, and running. With a third dan, she mentors and judges in judo. As a single mother and refugee, Mahboubeh aims to inspire others, fueled by her daughter's unwavering support. She is one of six judo mothers participating at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
