Hye-Kyeong Lee is the 2015 World Junior Champion in 2015 in Abu Dhabi U44kg and earned silver at the Cadet World Championships in Miami in 2013 as well as bronze at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing in 2014 and 2014 Asian Junior champion. Hye-Kyeong Lee took a bronze medal at the Asian Pacific Championships in 2019 and silver in 2024 in Hong Kong. Lee took silver at the Grand Prix of Portugal in 2022 and bronze at the 2022 Grand Slam in Ulaanbaatar. She won the Oceania Open in Perth in 2023. She took bronze at the Grand Prix in Linz in 2024. Lee triumphed the Grand Slam Tbilisi in 2024.
