Dutch powerman Henk Grol won two Olympic bronze medals, in 2008 in Beijing and London 2012. Grol was three times finallist of the World Championships and won the European title in 2008, in 2015 in 2016 and 8 medals. He was always coached by Maarten Arens. He is sponsored by Matrix. He took a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg in 2018. He captured gold at the Grand Slam in Osaka in 2018. Henk Grol (NED) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for seniors U100kg in 2012 and 2013.
