France and The Netherlands topped the medal table at the European Open in Glasgow. Both nations won two gold medals . Great Britain, Switzerland and Slovenia have one champion in Glasgow. The host nation captured 8 medals in total. Britain's Owen Livesey topped the podium in a strong U81kg category at the Glasgow European Judo Open. France topped the medal table with a total of five medals including two golds. Hosts Great Britain took eight medals with the home crowd enjoying the exciting judo on show at the Emirates Arena. Youngster Iakiv Khammo takes gold in Zagreb

Junior World Championships bronze medallist Iakiv Khammo (UKR) celebrated his first Grand Prix gold medal and his arrival on the senior stage in Croatia as Sofia European Open winner Vladut SIMIONESCU (ROU) took silver. SIMIONESCU, who won bronze in Zagreb last year, went one better in 2015 while KHAMMO confirmed his potential to be a force on the World Judo Tour stage. Read more
