Italian judoka Alessio De Luca captured a bronze medal at the European Cup for Cadets in Koper in 2019. Alessio was born on the day that Tadahiro Nomura captured his third historic third Olympic title. He won the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Gradec in 2023. He secured a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Graz in 2023. Bagged a silver medal at the Junior European Cup in Lignano in 2024. Silver at 2024 Junior European Championships in Tallinn.
