In 2019 Akaki Japaridze won gold at the Cadet European Cup in Antalya. He finished with bronze at the Junior European Cup in Paks in 2022. He triumphed at the European University Games in Zagreb in 2023 and 2024 in Miskolc. Bronze medal at the 2024 Grand Prix in Zagreb.
