Dutch judo coach Mark van der Ham was double Dutch champion U73kg as an athlete. As a coach he developed fast. He won Olympic bronze with Anicka van Emden in 2016. European titles with Roy Meyer. Took titles with Matthias Casse, Marhinde Verkerk, Juul Franssen, Guusje Steenhuis and Kim Polling and coached many youth talents. Raised in Hoogvliet at Sport Intituut De Korte and owner of the club. He was coach of the Flemish Judo Federation fron 2017-2022. He went to Azerbaijan for 2022-2023 and back to Flanders in September 2023.
