Italian judoka Valerio Accogli became 2024 Junior European Champion in Tallinn.. He captured a bronze medal at the Cadet European Championships in Riga in 2021. Valerio followed in the footsteps of his brother Daniele (-100), who is two years older. He clinched the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Lignano in 2022 and 2024. He secured a silver medal at the European Open in Tallinn in 2023. He triumphed at the Junior European Cup in Anadia (POR) in 2024. He won the Italian Junior Championships in 2024.
