Judoka Melkia Auchecorne from France became the junior world champion in 2023 in Odivelas and world title again in 2024 in Dushanbe. With the team of France she took the Junior European title in 2022 in Prague. She captured a silver medal at the European Championships for Junior in The Hague in 2023. She took the gold medal at the Challenge of Troyes Label A Cadet U63kg in 2018. Melkia won the gold medals at the Junior European Cup in Nanterre and in Banja Luka. Bronze medal at 2024 Junior European Championships in Tallinn. Became the junior world champion in 2024 in Dushanbe (TJK).
