British judoka Pamela Scullard took a bronze medal at the Swiss Open Balerna U54kg in 1973. She started judo in 1964 and stopped just after 1977 when her second child was born. She was 3 points off her 3rd Dan and had a bad knee injury. She came 3rd in Germany, Switzerland and Italy and took gold in Holland. She was also a referee and an examiner. She was born at Shoreham by Sea.
