Portuguese judoka Arthur Gottheiner was born in Brazil and comes from a true judo family and he lives in Lisbon, Portugal. He is coached by Pedro Dias and medalled at a few international events to gain more experience. He switched to Portugal in 2019 and won gold at the Pan American Cup in Lima and Coupe Canada even double gold in cadets and Juniors.
