Argentine judoka Agustin Gil captured a silver medal at the Cadet World Championships in 2017 in Santiago de Chile. Agustin Gil (ARG) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U81kg in 2018. He captured the gold medal at the Pan American Open in Bogota in 2022. He took a bronze medal at the Belgian Open in Visé in 2023. He took the gold medal at the Pan American Open in Guayaquil in July 2023.
