Japanese judoka Hikaru Kodama won the 2018 Junior world title in Nassau and the mixed team world title for Juniors. She claimed a silver medal at the World Junior Championships in Zagreb in 2017. She won the World Junior Mixed Team Championships in Zagreb in 2017. She took a bronze medal at the European Open in Lisbon in 2018. Hikaru Kodama (JPN) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for juniors O78kg in 2018. She took a bronze medal at the European Open in Bratislava in 2020.
