In 2018 Czech judoka Daniel Pochop won gold at the Cadet European Cup in Fuengirola. He captured a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Poznan in 2019. He claimed the gold at the Junior European Cup in Sarajevo in June 2021. He captured a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in 2021 in Olbia.
