Adrian Sulca from Romania captured the Junior world title in 2021 in Olbia and became the Junior European Champion in 2021. He was Youth Olympic Champion in 2018 in Buenos Aires. He claimed the gold medal at the European Open in Zagreb in 2021. He won the European Cup Cadets Zagreb in 2017 and 2018. Adrian captured the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Cluj Napoca in 2019 and Coimbra in July 2021. By the EJU he was chosen Best junior male judoka 2021. He secured a silver medal at the European Open in Oberwart in 2022. Sulca captured the gold medal at the European Open in Gyor in 2024.
