In 2024, Salih Yildiz finished fifth at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. He secured bronze medals at the Grand Slam events in Tashkent and Antalya. He earned bronze at the 2024 European Championships in Zagreb. He captured the Junior European title in 2019 and claiming bronze at the Junior World Championships in Marrakech the same year. Additionally, he attained bronze at the Junior European Championships in Porec in 2020. Yildiz also bagged bronze at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2022 and claimed further bronze medals at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv and the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2023.
