Turkish judoka Umalt Demirel bagged a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Prague in 2021. In 2018 he won gold at the Cadet European Cup in Antalya. He claimed a silver medal at the Junior World Championships in 2021 in Olbia. He captured the Turkish national title in 2021. He earned a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2024.
