Ahmad Yusifov (AZE) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U55kg in 2016. He clinched the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Lignano in 2019. He captured the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Berlin in 2019. He took bronze at the Junior European Championships in 2019 in Vaantaa. He claimed the gold at the World U21 Championships in Marrakech. He clinched the gold medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2022. He captured a silver medal at the GP in Zagreb in 2023. Silver medal at the 2024 Grand Prix in Zagreb.
