Born: 1 December 1999 (24 years)
Georgian judoka Tato Grigalashvili became World Champion in 2024 in Abu Dhabi, in 2023 in Doha and in 2022 in Tashkent. He took world silver in 2021 in Budapest also against Casse. He became European Champion in 2020, 2022 and 2024 and silver in 2023. Tato claimed the European U23 title in 2020 in Porec and U23 in 2021. He took bronze at the Junior World Championships in Zagreb in 2017 and 2019 in Marrakech. Tato won the Masters in Doha in 2021 and 2022 in Jerusalem. He finished fifth at the 2020 Olympic Games. IJF Athlete of the year 2022. Gold at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2023.
