Belgian judoka Alessia Corrao claimed a bronze medal at the Youth Olympic Games in 2018 in Buenos Aires. She clinched the gold medal at the European Cup Cadets in Teplice, Berlin and Bielsko Biala in 2019. She captured the gold medal at the Cadet European Championships in Warsaw. She won a bronze medal at the Cadet World Championships in Almaty in 2019. She finished with gold at the Junior European Cup in Prague in 2022. She claimed bronze at the senior European Cup in Dubrovnik in 2023. She won the Belgian senior title in 2023.
