Gevrise Emane is a judo legend and Clarisse Agbegenenou who became world champion in 2013. France Judo organises many IJF events such as Grand Slam Paris in the new Bercy and World Championships held in 2011. FFJDA hosts in Paris and also the IJF General Secretariat led by Jean-Luc Rouge is based in Paris.
