Second day of African Championships with Egypt in the lead

At the African Championships the second day delivered a breathtaking competition marked by several magnificent fights and ippons. The crowd of spectators was there at the Mohammed V hall to support the judokas who delivered breathtaking fights.

Four categories were in action for this second day. For girls, -63kg, -70 kg and boys, -73kg and -81kg. In the -63 category, the final pitted Belkadi Amina from Algeria against Angolan Mucungui Diassonema. The Algerian wins the gold medal. In the -70kg category, the Malagasy Rasoanaivo Razafy Aina Laura flies over this category and beats the Angolan Niangi Maria in the final. Among the boys, in -73 kg, Algeria won the gold medal. The final pitted Dris, Messaoud Redouane (ALG) against the Moroccan Doukkali Hassan. A very contentious fight between the two judokas who know each other well. In the -81kg category, the Moroccan Moutii Achraf won the gold medal after a fierce fight against the Egyptian Abdelghany Abdelrahman.
