At U48kg, the two main players to watch are Shirine Boukli (FRA) and Rina Tatsukawa (JPN). The U52kg division is an exciting one even without Uta Abe (JPN). The players to watch out for are Distria Krasniqi (FRA), Amandine Buchard (FRA), Reka Pupp (HUN), Estrella Lopez Sheriff (ESP) and Charline Van Snick (BEL).

Even more exciting is the U57kg division, which traditionally has been the best female category to watch. Check out who's fighting: Haruka Funakuba (JPN), Huh Mimi (KOR), Daria Bilodid (UKR), Jessica Klimkait (CAN), Rafaela Silva (BRA) and Telma Monteiro (POR).

At U63kg, the most exciting player to watch is Nami Nabekura (JPN).

The U70kg division has four exciting players: Barbara Matic (CRO), Ai Tsunoda Roustant (ESP), Marie Eve Gahie (FRA) and Kim Polling (NED).

The three main players to watch at U78kg are Guusje Steenhuis (NED), Audrey Tcheumeo (FRA) and Mao Izumi (JPN).

Not many exciting players in the +78kg division except for two: Romane Dicko (FRA) and Maya Akiba (JPN)
