Hélène Receveaux always had a powerful kumikata and she was lethal in o-uchi-gari. She also won the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2016, the same year where she won the Grand Prix of Samsun. Since 2012 she started to win World Cup level events such as the World Cup in Rome and the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.

Revealed under the colors of the Dijon Judo 21 Alliance, Hélène Receveaux booked many successes including those with the French team with whom she captured the European title in 2017 and world silver in 2018 and 2019. She has been on the IJF World Tour podium nineteen times, including three times on its highest step.

In 2017 Receveaux took a bronze medal at the World Championships in Budapest where she lost the semi final against Japanese Tsukasa Yoshida but dominated Portuguese Telma Monteiro in her fight for bronze. Despite the successor she also sustanined a lot of injuries. She was tarnished by a fractured heel followed by an elbow injury on an armbar. Two hundred and fifty-eight days without knowing the podiums between Baku 2019 and Tel Aviv the following year. In 2021 a new fracture required two operations on a bruised ankle.
