Ryoko Tani eyes 7th straight world judo title

Olympic champion judoka Ryoko Tani said Thursday she will continue her competitive career at least until the 2008 Beijing Olympics and her primary goal for this year is to win an unprecedented seventh straight world title. "What I should do this year is to break my own record," Tani said during national team training being held in Osaka Prefecture, referring to the six consecutive titles she has won at 48 kilogram in the world championships.
