In the current team for instance World Champion Nemanja Majdov and Olympic Champion Lukas Krpalek are an important basis for the team always alongside strong German judoka such as Olympic champion Ole Bischof and Olympic bronze medallists Dimitri Peters and Andreas Tölzer.

Otto Kneitinger retired in 2016 from TSV Abensberg and his last move was to successfully invite Fabio Basile and Nemanja Majdov to the club.
