Colombian judoka Erika Lasso attained silver at the Pan American Oceania Championships in Rio de Janeiro in 2024. She won all medals at Pan American Championships and was Panam Junior champion in 2018 -44kg, bronze in 2017. Collected eight medals at Pan American Open events which includes the gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Open in Medellin, three silver medals and four bronze medals. Want to compete at grand slams and ideally become world and Olympic champion. To continue studying to continue training as a professional. To give a better life to her mother and grandmother.
