The Two-time World Championships competitor caused a shock at the Rio 2016 Olympics by eliminating former Budapest Grand Prix winner Celio Dias (POR) by ippon with a tani-otoshi. He bagged a bronze medal at the African Open in Niamey in 2023. Seized bronze at 2024 African Open in Abidjan.
