Hungarian judoka Benedek Toth won the European Cup in Celje in 2023. He clinched a gold medal as well at the European Cup in Celje in 2019 and in Sarajevo in 2022. He took bronze at the European Open in Oberwart in 2020. He took a silver medal at the European Cadet Championships in 2017 in Kaunas. He took a bronze medal at the Cadet World Championships in Santiago de Chile in 2017. He took bronze at the European U23 Championship in 2019 in Izhevsk and bronze at European U23 in Budapest in 2021. He took silver at the European University Games in Zagreb in 2023 and 2024 in Miskolc.
