Cuban judoka Danieska Carrion won two bronze World championships medals U48kg in 2001 and 2003. Carrion won the Junior world title in 1998 in Cali. She won silver at the Tournoi de Paris in 2001, followed by bronze in 2002. She won four World Cups: Dutch Open, German Open and Hungarian Open twice.
